Welcome, visitors!
In December 2002 I found and joined "Dave's Garden", looking for pictures of Convolvulaceae (morningglories and bindweeds), one of the plant families that take my special interest.
My love for plants is about half a century old. Since 1986 my favourite garden plants are Fuchsias, because of their lovely flowers which exist in so many shapes, sizes and colours, but also because these give me pretty good growing results.
I live in the north of the Netherlands, and I don't have a very big garden, so I can't grow everything I like; moreover, the location and climate aren't exactly ideal for a great deal of plants.
But I also take a lot of photos of plants and not only in my own garden!
As you can see on this page, I also have a website, which already contains many photos and comments about plants.
The majority of visitors of my website are from the Netherlands and Belgium, but they come from all parts of the world.
On this page at "Dave's Garden" I hope to reach even more plant-loving people, and I have an idea most of its members live in the United States, from where I only rarely got reactions to my website up till now - so it's probably new to most of you.
Have a look if you like, and in the meantime I'll show some photos here also!
