"Hi, I'm a wheelchair gardener and self-confessed plant-aholic with Irises, Hostas, Hardy Geraniums, and Ferns being my top favourites.
I have a large garden with many different aspects so that I am fortunate enough to grow a wide variety of plants. fruit, veg, trees, perennials, annuals, pond plants, bog plants and am just learning about container gardening (other than hanging baskets which I've done for more years than I can count). I'm also in the early stages of learning about Bonsai gardening. I just love to learn! I am disabled with a spinal injury & Fibromyalgia, so I am in a wheelchair now, so my method of gardening has changed, but it hasn't curbed my passion for gardening and adoring all those lovely plants at all!
I am just starting to get into container gardening and am learning all about dwarf/mini/ and alpine plants which has been a lot of fun. I am also in the very early stages of learning about Bonsai gardening although haven't yet reached the stage of doing anything with any plants yet...that part is just too scarey for me at this point lol but it's great fun learning all this new stuff and getting to grow new plants...and the only thing I like better than learning about and growing plants is......shopping for new ones! =o) " |
