"I'm learning to garden in zone 10a. I used to have a lot of (lovely, high) tree cover, but a lot has been lost in two hurricanes (last year and this). Luckily it was mostly branches rather than whole trees, but it's become the impetus to turn what was (I thought) a rather nice jungley yard into a bit more organized garden."
