| "I live in North Carolina right on the coast so I deal with different problems like salt spray and hurricanes and very acid soil. But it grows really beautiful azaleas! I am a NC Master Gardener but no longer active in the organization because of health problems. My garden was recently named a National Wildlife Federation Backyard Wildlife Habitat. What a mouthful! I was so happy and proud I nearly bust my buttons. The only thing is the raccoons keep stealing my suet and suet feeders. And the grackles have moved in to stay and they keep pecking my little birds and eating all the food. If anyone has suggestions I am willing to try them. Oh, if anyone is interested, I would love having e-mail pals. I am often confined to the house because of my health and I love sitting at the computer talking to others and making friends. But remember, I do not know all that much about computers so be patient with me, please!" |
