| "Hey there! I am a happily married mother of 2 wonderful children, and a beginner aspiring gardener. I tried my hand at gardening in the spring/summer of 2010, as a way to try to find a little peace in a crazy life of a mother raising two young chidren, one with a life-long chronic medical condtion, Type 1 Diabetes. I have learned that gardening is, not only a very rewarding hobby, but a very peaceful, stress-releiving one as well! As winter grew near, I decided to try my hand at some indoor gardening. Currently we are growing an Ameryllis (SP?) flower from bulb, we also have a small bamboo plant, though not sure what kind it is, as well as an indoor tree (though, again, not sure what kind of tree it is lol), and a variety of greenery plants. The tree, bamboo, and variety plant pots were all given to us. My 5 year old son also loves to grow things, and he was actually what started me into planting. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from everyone here!!!" |
