"I'm a working wife and mom, but I still make time to garden. It helps me relieve stress and give my family some healthy, home-grown food. At least I can make sure those things aren't genetically modified!
I love "weird" heirloom vegetables. My husband asked this spring if we could just grow some "normal" tomatoes and peppers. What fun is that? But I'm growing some plain old bell peppers and nice round red Rutgers tomatoes for him this year. Aren't I a good wifey?
I like to share what I've got. I always grow more seedlings than I need so I can pass the extras around to friends and coworkers. And I'm happy to share any extra seeds!" |
