The Chinese tallow provides wonderful fall color. I wished that I could have taken this photo 2 weeeks ago before a lot of the leaves dropped. I had to purchase a new camera. There are a few white blooms still on the tree.(December, San Antonio, Tx.)

The Chinese Tallow leaves turn various colors of gold, maroon, purple and red in the fall. The small greenish white seed capsules stand out against the deep color tones. (December, San Antonio, Tx.)

Fall color is great. Plants easily controlled. Robins, Yellow Rump Warblers and Cardinals eat white wax on seeds. (thousands) Bloom smell is wonderful.

I found two of these sprouting in a flower bed in my backyard. Someone here on DG identified them for me and I immediately pulled them up!
