Gets gr...Read Moreeat purple blooms on it but they dont last very long. It will grow anywhere, shade or sun and maintains its beautiful purple/green foliage. I purposely planted some in a small crack in-between a landscape timber and a patio block and it grows beautifully there. I even have some growing in my pond. It can be a bit invasive but is easy to control by just pulling up what you dont want. It comes up with very little effort.

Grows in many soil types. Foliage is blackish-burgundy and very glossy. Can spread up to 36". Prefers shade.
