Added the slightly bigger blue Holly ' Little Rascal' to the bed and have gotten decent fruit sets for the past two years from both 'Rock Garden' hollies. Difficult to find any information about potential pollinators for this plant by the way. Had to reach out to the Holly Society of America to get any leads on possible male pollinators. Bed is very well draining and plants are somewhat out of direct sun. In fact, the plant more exposed to afternoon sun is noticeably smaller than the one that is somewhat shaded by a standard form of 'Daub's Frosted' juniper. Difference in growth makes me think that in my zone 8a in Oregon a full sun placement should only be done with moist but well draining soil or well draining but heavily mulched (cooler roots) location.
