However, after flowering, you hav...Read Moree to cut it to the ground or else the flower heads flop and the foliage goes black-mildew nasty (in my garden). I do overhead water, and the soil is maybe richer than it would normally prefer, but I don't like my plants to schedule my gardening for me. I will say that I have never had this plant self-seed anywhere in my so I'm not so sure it should be considered an invasive. It may very well be sterile.
