Bigleaf Hydrangea, French Hydrangea 'Penny Mac'

I live in zone 9b-10 and I have had wonderful success with this hydrangea. It is the first and only one I've ever grown. No insect dama...Read Morege, lots of new growth from center, clean leaves. I used a product to make them turn blue--very beautiful. I grew this plant from a gallon size and this is the end of the second year.

Bred by Penny McHenry and introduced by Louisiana Nurseries, U.S. Strong grower to 5'-6' tall. One of the more frost hardy varieties. Flat medium green leaves, flowers pink to mid blue, age to tones of rose to aquamarine. Flowers on this seasons growth so a good pick for northern gardens.
