Not one of the more attractive landscape plants the rest of the time, but the flowers are worth it when they finally come. Very drought tolerant bromeliad.
This is a relatively wide leav puya, with large serrations along the edges of the dark, forest green leaves. Not sure if it makes a huge thicket like other Puyas as I have only seen solitary plants.
