No flowers yet. Potted plants seem to regenerate from soil line easily if the tops die from drying out. I'd swear if your potted plants blow out in hurricanes, they'd still be there afterwards but maybe soil-less. Those thorns will hang on to anything. Best to clip off any thorns, especially if you have kids around. Can't wait for fruit.
I'll rate neutral after digging out too many thorns from my skin, I've learned to clip them on the plant.

It grew about 18 inches tall in the pot. That fall I planted in the ground. That has been four years ago. My tree is now 6 foot tall, and two foot wide. I haven't pruned it, and was looking for information about pruning. The first few years, the fruit was small, but last year, it was about an inch long, just like the one I was given.
I think the fruit taste like an apple that has been dipped in honey. I don't care for them after they become wrinkled,they taste more like a date, but some people do.
