Tall, bushy, climbing. Large, glossy, dark green foliage, highly resistant to black spot and powdery mildew.
This variety was rated one of the top performers by the Abbey Rockefeller Rose Garden, New York Botanical Garden, where no fungicides are used. It has been decorated with awards (Gold Medals) in international rose competitions.
Not to be confused with the red hybrid tea/florist's rose 'KORsetag', which Kordes also introduced in 2003 and gave the same trade name.
Nor should it be confused with the red and yellow shrub rose 'BARamad', introduced by Barni in 1991 and called 'Amadeus' in trade.
