Can be grown in the open garden in mild areas and will withstand a little light frost if given protection but as with other Mediterranean Arum species, the leaves will suffer in prolonged freezes. Suitable for container growing, but do not allow the compost to freeze as this will damage the plants. Store tubers completely dry during the dormant period. Use a compost or soil with plenty of added organic material and feed regularly.
