Was planted in between a Picea omorika 'Pendula Bruns' and Pinus densiflora 'Burke's Red'. Nice contrast! Smaller specimen (3-4ft.) with beautiful swept branching and baby blue foliage that just glows in late day shade.

It was planted just six months ago, and is full of promise. I have planted it in limey clay, but this has had a considerable amount of well-rotted manure, sand, and coffee grounds dug into it. It contrasts beautifully with nearby Thuja occidentalis 'Rheingold' planted in front of it, and a deep purple Physocarpus planted behind. Its position is in strong, full sun, exposed to salt-laden winds, which it does not mind a bit. I am very much looking forward to seeing this plant develop in the years to come. :)
