This is a "peculiar succulent Peperomia columella (Columnar Peperomia...Read More) by its snake-like shoots. A species of plant in the Piperaceae family, and endemic to deserts of western South America, it has thick, fleshy, bright green leaves, that are truncated, shaped like an horseshoe. Grows best in a bright and sunny spot. Like most Peperomia, it can be very sensitive to overwatering and thrives when slightly pot-bound."
