Nearly walked into one of these webs in the yard a few nights ago. Been keeping tabs in him ever since. He'd sets up shop between my garden and the big trash cans back there every evening and takes care of any flying bugs and mosquitoes that wander through.
Perfectly spiral web with precise, even spacing. The main suspension lines span over 10 feet between an evergreen, the ground, and my tomato cages! Great looking spider; the little engineer is welcome in my yard any time.
