I had a tipsy topsy old white hanging basket I didn't know what to do with, so I took the hanging part off & made a container garden out of it, filled with Pitcher plants, Sundew, Venus Flytraps, etc. I have taken it for show & tell to meetings of the Hobby Greenhouse Association & everybody seems to enjoy looking at all the different plants in it. Sometimes if I'm lucky & the plants are happy, they reward me with a bloom or two. |

Cuphea laevis in a brass birdcage: I got the birdcage for a couple of dollars at a local auction. The cuphea was a natural to put inside it because the plant was not very full or bushy, yet the flowers had lovely color and I felt the birdcage would enhance the plant. |

Pansies: A springtime symphony: I usually have three containers of Pansies around the three sides of our pond in the spring. They last until June-July and then it gets too hot for them, but while they last, they provide a riot of color and set off the pond. |
