| Vaccinium Species Vaccinium parvifolium I lived in SE Alaska 20+ years. Red hucks grow wild all over the place. They make the best tasting sweet/tart pies our family has ever eatten. They have blue hucks where we live now and they are much more remiding of blue berries in flavor than the tangy sweetness of the red hucks. I hope to find some reds since blues grow here well I think reds would be great too. Perhaps in spring I can harvest some Golden Currents (taste like honey) or choke cherries for trade. | Plants |  (PlantFiles) |
