| Agave Species Agave victoriae-reginae I live in Arizona and am xeriscaping my front yard, mainly with rock because it doesn't matter if you water it or not. I do have kids sometimes go through the yard, as well as other people's dogs (but we won't go there) and need something that I won't get sued if they fall on it. I love the color and habit that I saw at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ! It would tie in well with the pine cone, totem pole and some other crawlie cactus that isn't doing real well. I also have a Texas Mountain Laurel that is in flower right now and I have harvested some of the seeds if someone wants to trade. I also have an abundance of white water lilies and Louisiana Flag (water iris) to trade for any little piece of this wonder! I have a full western facing yard, so after 10 am until dark it is in FULL SUN. If I need to water it more often than the rain, I can put it under the Chinese elm (again in full sun) or the Lemon tree. I have some Chinese elm seedlings if you want to trade those or I also have an Arizona Ash tree (small) if you want it. I love to play with plants! My mom says I am running out of room; I just look around the ponds, against the back fence, under and around the clothesline and the frame over the herb and hummingbird gardens and I can always find room!
