I have 30+ of these dark purple iris that I would like to trade for different colors. I am a new gardener and got these from a retired professor who gave me a big bag of rhizomes. The dark purple ones had oodles of babies (I started with 6 plants in that spot). I looked at lots of pictures and I think they are either the black magics or the superstitions. I have more pictures of them posted at http://northernflowers-lisa16.blogspot.com/ (click on the iris link-- first and last picture).
