Solidago Species Solidago altissima Have plenty of rosettes in the winter/spring. I think it is S. altissima; it could be S. canadensis. Mine blooms very late in the season and is a brilliant yellow. Soils can be dryish to somewhat wet. It does spread very easily by rizomes, so it is not for a small formal garden. But makes for a fabulous display in a larger garden or meadow! Would likely be contained by a buried large nursery pot if desired. (Note - goldenrods do NOT cause hay fever. They just bloom at the same time as the plant that does (ragweed), which is not a very noticable plant, so people blame the goldenrod. | Plants | (PlantFiles) |

Tulbaghia Species Tulbaghia violacea | Seeds, Plants, Roots, Tubers and Bulbs | (PlantFiles) |
