| Gardenia Gardenia jasminoides Mine is a large plant and has stopped blooming in this 110 degree Kansas heat but the plant it self looks fine. Ipomea verigata cameo elegance and sun smile blue I got this plant for mother's day and had no idea what it was. I finally found out that it is a new type of morning glory. Mine has very pretty verigated arrow head shaped leaves and the flowers are either a very pretty rose and white or blue and white which is really a purple color. For quite some time it just stayed in the pot but after a couple of months, it began to trail ove rthe sides. It is perfect in a hanging basket. By late summer the runners are about a yard long which is very different from the normal morning glory. It doesn't want to climb a string either but wants to kind of droop over something else so it's pretty over a log in my yard. It trail over the edge of a mixed planter very nicely. I have really found it to be a fun plant and no one recognizes it, especially as a morning glory although I did tell my daughter that was what it made me think of but was so different. | 'new kind of morning glory ' | Seeds | (PlantFiles) |
