Pycnanthemum Species Pycnanthemum muticum Aka:Short Toothed Mountain Mint Grows in waist high clumps of leafy stems. The top of the clump is carpeted with tiny flowers with silver bract leaves. Bees love it. Butterflies too. Honeybees, Bumbles, black wasps, skippers... they all go nutz for this plant. Leaves have very strong mint taste/smell. This perennial thrives spring to fall.
