| Agave Species Agave ferdinandi-regis Had it in a very large, heavy pot in later years. The winters in Olympia WA are cold and wet, so had to use a hand truck to get the large pot inside a sun room for each cold season. After 25 years the bloom spike started and alarmed me since it was rising about 6" per day. During the early spring I had to get it outside to save the bloom spike. I got a ladder to get on the roof so I could get a close-up photo of the wonderful cream colored flowers. I saved some seed and easily grew several plants.
