| Ipomoea Species Ipomoea batatas September 24, 2012: Have some small plants started from slips off a standard organic sweet potato at Krogers. Maybe a few slips left on the potato also. They're growing in about 1/2 gallon containers in Miracle Grow. I know, wrong time of year and probably wrong way to plant. I just didn't want to waste all these slips! I don't know a lot about gardening or if they'd do much this season but maybe they could be kept over the winter as houseplants or put in to come back next year? | Plants, Cuttings | (PlantFiles) |
