Anethum graveolens
I have been growing dill in my garden for six plus years now. Each year I select the dill seed that I enjoy the most. I do not irrigate the dill at all. They only receive God's normal New Jersey rainfall. This ensures that I have a drought resistant variety. Occasionally, I will introduce a new seed packet from another catalog company. The dill seeds I have currently are from the 2012 harvest crop (this year). No old seeds here. Plants become approximately 3 feet high when mature. Plants have a great fresh dill smell, beautiful green color, and will easily grow in direct sunlight. I have used this variety in pickling cucumbers and makes great dill pickles.
