0 - ATTENTION ALL TRADERS
Sorry, but I am not trading at this time due to other obligations. But you are welcome to enjoy my pix!

1 - ATTENTION ALL TRADERS
1/1/10 -

NO FOREIGN EXCHANGES... SORRY, but it is just cost prohibited... I am no longer ding any trading outside of the continential USA. The reasons are increases in USDA phytosanitary costs, increased shipping costs, and delays in inspections and custom clearance in countries where plants are being shipped. As a result costs are prohibitive, and, delivery times are inconsistent (sometimes three or more weeks) and there is no point in sending plants that die.
--------------------------

Please note that due to the size
of my trade list and the number of plants I raise, not all entries on my HAVE LIST are up to date and therefore some items may not necessarily be available.

>My WANT LIST is however current..
----------------------------------------------------
To be fair - Please NEW TRADERS only one request per person per year and limit your requests to no more than 5 items.
Anymore than that things get too confusing.
--------------------------------------------
Due to the high volume of trade requests, my trading is currently delayed. If you are expecting a trade and I have replied, it is coming. If for some reason it has not arrived, pleaselet me know. Sometimes things get lost in the system.

All others I will respond as soon as earthly possible!
------------------------------------------------
As for any new trade requests I am suspending taking any new trades until further notice so I may update my trade list and also more importantly get caught up with the people I still have to send to.

Your patience is appreciated. And thank you for understanding.

If you need help in how to pack a plant for shipping please ask.

Lastly, I cannot control what the Post Office does to your parcel once it leaves my hands. I am not responsible for any crushed or damaged items. I do my best to pack things appropriately, however I cannot replace an item once it is shipped.

I am a generous trader and usually include bonus packs in with all orders. Its the best I can do to make you happy, but do not be mad at me if your parcel arrives damaged in handling.

Most of my perennial plants ship bareroot and cut back to get the lightest way possible in costs of shipping and so do not expect any potted plant unless otherwise noted. Some bulbs, tubers may be in a dormant to semi dormant stage but as a rule all are freshly dug when possible. Occassionally the foliage will be left on, but you may need to cut that back to promote the plant to grow once you plant it.

Plants will be shipped when it its appropriate to do so according to also when they can be approriately dug.

I do not ship any plants before April 1st and will not ship any plants after October 15th. Occassionally though there may be exceptions!

LASTLY, the photo that appears with an item is not always the identical object shipped, just a vague description of what I am offering or perhaps part of the scrapbooking I do while I garden. I simply cannot take pix of every item! Case in point a seed packet.

2 - Attention Again!
Instead of plants or seed I will also take postage stamps in trade for seed packs or plant material.

When trading for seed doing stamps I require an sase or bsase along with the appropriate number of stamps to acquire the seed packs! Usually 2 new letter size postage stamps per pack is sufficient.

You will also have to include stamps for postage on plants shipping and that will depend on the size box. Or you can Paypal me an appropriate amount instead of the stamps if that makes things easier.

Occassionally I can use zip baggies, adhesive labels, other garden supplies as well.

Or feel free to bump up my membership in Daves Garden!

Please ask as I'm flexible!

As always, HAPPY TRADING AND HAPPY GARDENING!
