Another ID please.

Another victim (the label) of Ike's flooding here in IL. This was just beautiful when in bloom. Any thoughts?

Does yours have a sweet fragrance? The reason I ask is that I have one that is almost identical and that has a sweet fragrance. I am about to decide it is Istanbul. I have a known Istanbul that I will grow to compare it with.
Does anyone else have any ideas?

Maybe Istanbul...but my "fall" (is that the right term?) seems to have more of a yellow tint down it's center. Could that be soil, weather related?

Laura check the beard and the throat area behind the beard as that can be more help than anything as there are quite afew iris with those colors.

Here is my similar unknown. It's standards are lighter than yours, but they are slightly yellow. It is also fragrant as Istanbul is supposed to be. I am hoping it will turn out to be Istanbul.
