How to kill Leptoglossus phyllopus.

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

I'm over run with these things. I can't seem to kill them with spray. Any suggestions?

Do you have a cordless vacuum cleaner? Suck 'em up and then dump them into a bucket of soapy water...

I've heard of doing that, I'd be interested in hearing how it works for you.

Well, I have to confess that I am not bothered with them. I will see adults, usually in the early spring, and I smash them on sight. I don't grow tomatoes or any veggies, and the plants I have (many!) aren't attractors. I tend to get rid of plants that are problematic. So the method is just something I have heard about, but that sounds very doable.
