Thank you Sally and Candee! The Nicotiana are great for floating and they smell lovely in the room.
There are more buds on the Zinnias Candee, so hopefully will have more flowers soon!

South, TX

I bet that DOES smell great!

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

I wonder how my jasmine would do floating??? Got me curious now.

london England, United Kingdom

Ohh Jasmine will be lovely I'm sure Candee!

Christchurch, New Zealand

I have a single lovely camellia that would be just right to float...
but hubby took my camera away with him & left it in a hangar when he was looking at aircraft bits.
So I will leave the flower where it is for now.
It is a white with pink 'trim'.

How pretty, Terri, great vase and pretty flowers.

Thank you Sally. The glass cones had candles inside. I'm enjoying looking for different glass vases / containers.
My Roses are running out, only a few still flowering here and there, hopefully there will be another flush of them before the end of the season..

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

You roses are stunning terri and that came together nicely.

london England, United Kingdom

Thanks Candee, I've 'borrowed' the vase from flowertips lol!

Christchurch, New Zealand

love the colour of that middle rose!
the others are nice too but I am obsessed with purple & blue shades.
Not that you would know it looking at my garden, I have reds & oranges, & pinks too...
and come spring lots of yellow daffodils.
Right now it is bitterly cold & my witch hazel is blooming.
Must get some pics & see how it looks in a vase.
Unusual comes to mind :)

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

I bet it will look stupendous dalfyre, I think witch hazel is so unique. I grow Harry Lauder and corkscrew and love the effect.

Christchurch, New Zealand

my beloved has used the batteries up on my camera...
first he left it in Blenheim so it took a week to get it back & now I can't use it anyway...grrr

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Grrr, can't you get some batteries ASAP or better yet, ask DH to?
Been playing with the crystal again, got a rose in late bloom and double hollyhock along with gypsophilia in pink and a bit of russian sage.

Thank you Candee, it usually lives on the patio with candles in it! I just thought it might be an idea to stick some flowers in there. lol.

How wonderful! I love all of the blooms together like that!

Thank you Sally, I'm going to experiment with it, there are 15 glass containers to play with.
I like the way you keep your Violets displayed together and I think that gave me the idea!

Christchurch, New Zealand

one of my favourite ladies at the RSA brought these adorable wee roses in for me today.
So many of my regulars have been extending condolances after the death of my father but I was really touched by her thoughtfulness.

Oh Sally, they are beautiful. Tiny always makes an arrangement so elegant and warm. So sorry to hear of the loss of your father, I know how heartwrenching such a loss is on a daughter. Always keep the fond memories foremost and each day more and more joy will return to you.

South, TX

They are so pretty. I am very sorry you lost your father.
