I guess an introduction is in order so the first part is a bit long. Sorry.
First off I've kinda stayed away from this Forum until we get a better handle on the yard and house.
There are too many projects we want/need to do ..... we needed more ideas like we needed ...... LOL!
But w/ a 30 day+ 'furlough' going We've kinda got a handle on the chores.
We have been trashing for the 30 years we've been together.
At first it was out of necessity..... now it's love of craft.
I'll post some of the stuff we've done over the years....
some that worked and some that didn't and why if that's OK.
The March of Dimes has a 'Gentle Demolition' store here in Cincy.
It goes under the name of Building Values.
They go in and do Demo on remodels and then offer it for resale.
They also accept donated items.
We've totally remodeled our 1930's home mainly thru them for a fraction of the Retail Cost.
While looking for some used Medicine Cabinets (an art project in progress) I ran into a very strange item.
Had to have it... S/O said why? .... I said it's only 20 Bucks and...... she just rolled her eyes.
(But we both do this to each other all the time so.....)
When I got it home I found out it's official name is a Wall Write Folding Desk.
I've needed a save place to enter data and search plants while in the yard for some time now.
Hate hiking in and out to do this stuff.
Hate even more Trashing a Laptop.
