Great Plants I've Received!

(Clint) Medina, TN(Zone 7b)

I made 2 orders to 2 new companies I tried the first time this year.

1.) McGlauflin's Perennials - Best coneflowers I've ever received via mail order. I divided my Milkshake plant and took 4 additional cuttings the day it arrived! Both halves of the division are growing great!

2.) Great Garden Plants - They sent me a Green Envy plant which was very nice. I divided it too and made two plants out of it.

These are the best online plants I've ever seen! I can't say enough good things about them.

"McGlaufin's Perennials"?

I can't seem to find them.

Could you post a link here?

Thanks!

I also got good Paradoxa plants from http://prairienursery.com/store/
I planted seeds, but wanted the blooms faster. Their plants bloom a little the first year, but the 2nd year, they are loaded!

I ordered a Echinacea "Virgin" about a month ago from McGlauflin's. I received a healthy plant, but it wasn't large sized. It's growing well and that's the most important thing. I think we have to factor in which one of the Echinacea's were ordering and it's own growing characteristics. It even may come down to which plant they send you in an individual variety (almost a luck of the draw thing). If we ordered a "Mac N Cheese" perhaps it might not matter where we ordered it from!!! In the end...they sent me a healthy plant and I would order from them again.
