subtle southwest decorating, cheap

Hello, we will be decorating a very small house in Colorado. I would like to do some southwest colors, but since the rooms are small I don't want to go overboard. The budget is smaller than the house. Any ideas on inexpensive furnishings and decorations? Thanks in advance
