Patience has paid off...

After 6 years and 6 feet, finally my Ginkgo biloba 'sunstream' is producing branches. I don't know about anyone else, but this has been the best spring for growth. Cool and damp. Everything is so picturesque. So, I'll send some!

Definitely the most prolific of the Ginkgo variegates. Rarely a leaf without coloration.

Thanks. An obsession. :)

Very cool is right! I lost my three ginkgos overwinter, all three were potted. I think the soil was too moist for them and they rotted. This year I planted the one that I ordered, Summer Rainbow, in the ground.
