here are some pictures i took this afternoon 5/25
some pictures of my woodland in my garden
Could you post a larger picture of the area where your pink lady slipper grows please?
Enya I tried to get a larger area on the camera that is as big as it came, now something is wrong with the camera tried again today and it is messed up
That's OK. I can relate to all problems technical :) I am trying to get an idea of where pink lady slippers are happy. I grow the yellow one, but the pink one died on me :( I'd love to try it again some time, but for now am wishing and learning.
I love all your photos by the way :)
Enya I been wanting the yellow one!
enya, when I saw both pink and yellow ones growing in the wild, the yellow ones were growing in a lower more moist elevation. The pinks were thriving in a lot higher elevation amongst a pine/oak forest floor with lots of sandstone and leaf litter (similar to areas where Mountain Laurel grows). Hope this helps!
