Knocked off a pod

Will the seeds still develop, the pod is still green but fully developed?

How long is the stem attached to the pod? Longer stems could take being put in water, change frequently, not letting it touch the pod. I have been told to stick stem in a potato. Barry blyth will break off a long stem & stick it in the ground when he has to move the plant. Break occuring at the base of the pod, no stem I would say that you are out of luck.

Thanks for your input, no stem! Oh well, it was one that the bees pollinated so no big loss.
