If any one has a picture(s) of this iris, please post here. I was supposed to have Rosy Wings AND Rosy Veil, but only one of the rosies survived and it wasn't wings, but I can't find a picture of rosy veil that seems to match the AIS database description.
"ROSY VEIL
(Sass, R. 1953), Sdlg. 48-162. TB, 36" (91 cm), M
"White ground, S. lightly marked cobalt violet (Wilson) on lower part; F. white lightly edged cobalt violet (Wilson 634), yellow beard. (Pink plicata sdlg. 44-6: (Minnie Colquitt x sdlg. 10-38, yellow plic.) x (pink plicata 43-7: (Minnie Colquitt x Jake). Fleur de Lis 1953 HM 1954."
What is cobalt violet exactly? I've heard of cobalt blue...

Need picture of iris (not yet in database)
does anyone have a picture of this one?
I do so wish more members would post pictures. I have been searching for a good picture of C. McEwen's Harspwell Haze Siberian. I hope someone answers your request.
I just wish I had more siberians to post!!! :)

Wow -- it's a beauty, but looks nothing like what bloomed for me -- oh well, another one bites the dust!!! Thank you HJM. :-)

'Rosy Veil' is in the HIPS photo registry. Their pics are usually more dependable than random
pics placed in plant files.
