Dahlia.... those tulips are pretty!
Jan.... Yep, the bachelor's button is one kind of a cornflower!
good eye.
Jen.... that iris is very striking!
Victor.... great pics as always. I love the almost black iris and the crystal fountain.
Robin.... sorry, I missed you in the bunch. Thanks, that iris is one of my faves! It's an Iris louisiana 'Black Gamecock'. You're right... that dianthus is very bright.
Victor.... you're right about the timing, I take a lot of pics mostly at sunset, occasionally at sunrise.

The orioles like our tulip tree.We had to have branches cut back which were in the way of the gutters on the house so may not see as many.

Stumbled upon this photo, just wanted to share.
fantastic Willie
I think I need to find me some of those ......
I have those, they are called Tino's and i've been growing them for about 7 years. They are very stunning.
Well, I ordered 10 .. couldn't resist. Plus, I don't have many lilies in the yard. I don't think any of them are Asiatic, either.
I wonder if they named it after the Greek Island in the Cyclades archipelago.
wow blooms galore!! nice pics victor - lots of clems! yours as well shelly!!
Grow a red or orange beside 'Tinos' and it will accent the center beautifully!
She looks happy, and why not.
I like that dogwood / allium combination! Is that as tall as those alliums will get?
Just gorgeous Venu
I am waiting patiently for the 2 surviving TBI's I ordered from Shreiners last fall, to open
The other 2 croaked, root borer. I sprayed thei spring but didnt kill the beasts.
DD's transplanted TBI from old house 2 years ago will bloom first time too. I cant wait, because she has no idea what color it is.
