Malware quarantined trojans..what now?

Hi all,
I give up! I've been trying to get info on Malware forum..to no avail. Decided to come here because I always get help!

Ran Malware scan on new computer, and AVG missed 10 trojan infections. Malware quarantined them. Is it best to leave them there, or delete them? It required a reboot to quarantine them.

Just wondering...I've never had those before. Also, Isn't AVG supposed to catch those?
