Can anyone recommend a nice pink ?

Gardiner, ME(Zone 5a)

Hi,
I am looking for a nice true pink without peach/orange tones. It can be a bicolor maybe white ?

Can anyone recommend one or better yet has grown one ? I realize that growing conditions etc.make a difference but still want to ask.Thanks.

The pinkest one I have grown is Pink Bubbles. It is a bit shorter than the tall bearded iris and the flower is smaller. It definately beats out any of my other so called pinks. From Schreiners.

Thank you for the information and link.
You are so right, that is exactly the pink I am looking for.

I will go to Schreiners website to look and I put it on my WANT :-) list already.
Thank you again.

You will find it listed as a "Border bearded"...

You could check Vanity or Pink Taffeta as well, they are both tall bearded and both are Dykes Medalists in their turn.

I have Pink Attraction and Pink Jade. I think Pink Jade is a more pure pink. The trouble you run into is, the flower can be PINK but if the beard is orange, it will give the pink flower a 'coral' look.

Pink Bubbles does not grow well in our area--ask other people in Maine how it does for them. Pink Attraction did well here--an older iris but modern form.

well I don't know anything about it lol
I bought it last fall from Woodland Iris and it bloomed a few weeks ago and was a lovely shade of baby pink, with a light colored beard.
