Hummingbird Mystery

It's interesting how hummingbirds have to be in just the right angle of light to see the ruby throat. It has to do with melanin platelets in the feathers. The picture is of the same guy at the same time, as the feeder turned, when he got to the left side the ruby throat did not show.

I didn't either .. I guess I didn't have as many hummingbirds visiting as I thought.
