Well...it's better than the last glaze fire - not great

Churubusco, IN(Zone 5b)

Several big disapointments, and a few things that are OK. I'm not including the really bad stuff. Can't figure out if I used too much glaze or if the kiln got too hot. Fired to a cone 5 - glaze is rated to 5 or 6. One of the clear glazes I bought on ebay said anything over 06 so I'm wondering if there is a maximum on it...? The reason I'm wondering is because it seems like the peices I used it on bubbled more than the others. See the pendants and beads? Almost all of them have glaze drips on the bottom. I fired them on a NiCr 20 ga wire and the glaze ran (which looks cool on the textured stuff) but of course accumulated at the lowest point... anyone know of a way to get the effect without the drip?
