Blue Angel and Madame Julia Correvon (sp?)
MJC is a great plant. Last year, it was still blooming after the first couple of light frosts. This wil be the 3 year in the ground and despite our rotten spring, it's growing strong and fast. I can't wait to see the blooms.
dawn, these are two of the all time great clems. i have had both for while and they are fabulous clems. of course a start up period as we expect. blue angel is magnificant. julia c is one of the prettiest clems ever. love love love them.
here is blue angel, last year. she is huge this year.
and julia, a super red, even in partial shade as this one is.
Oh and guess what???? My Aunt came over for a visit and brought me a Rosemoor!!!!! OMG three new clematis in one day!!!!!

Guru yours are stunning and look quite large. I am glad I bought those two. Not sure now if I should plant them together maybe or in separate areas? Decisions decisions.
Now I also have to decide on where to put my rosemoor!!!! Yahoooooo!!

they look great together..there is a deep red clem in near my blue angel and the combo is good. also a violet elizabeth tucked in there with the blue angel.

I noticed you had another clem mixed in with the Blue Angel Guru. It does look nice. Yes I am so excited about my new clematises. I am honestly running out of room though ahhhhh!!!!
