Harper - you would really like the trollius, I think. It's very cheery! It is the only thing blooming in that garden so far. The peony near it is going to pop soon!
I deadheaded my trollius last year... and was getting blooms later on.... off and on.. love them!
Thanks for telling us that, Allison. I didn't deadhead, but will this year. I wonder if harvesting seeds works to propagate new plants. I'd love to have a few more plants!
I read that the trollius can get really tall, but yours looks tame Louise. How big will yours get?
I'm not sure, Harper. I read the same thing in the plant files comments. Mine is 3 years old in full sun, and it is not taller than it was last year, so I'm a bit confused about those comments. I guess I'll have to wait and see if it takes over the garden.
