My daughter just got me an All-Clad slow cooker with a cast aluminum insert which has a non-stick surface. I can't find out anything about what the surface is made of, and I don't use aluminum cookware because I don't trust it. Any ideas about how I could find out more about this? My inclination is just to return it to Williams-Sonoma but my daughter feels really bad about it.
