Immortality

Nilwood, IL(Zone 5b)

This iris was sold to me by a very good place called VB but I don't think it is IM, Does anyone know what it is. It is only 20 inches tall. The blooms are small. Thanks BEV

Would that be VB as in Van Bourgondien? If so, then there's a very good chance it is mislabeled.

Looks a bit like Low Ho Silver.

Edited to say: Take a look at Mainer's photo in Plant Files.

I would guess that it is Frequent Flyer, since those spoons around the beard suggest that is is a Space Age Reblooming Iris. If it is Frequest Flyer is will be taller in the future. Marty

Frequent Flyer has too many ruffles. Since Low Ho is an IB, that would be my vote. But to positively identify the iris it is necessary to grow the suspected variety(ies) side-by-side.
