CLOSED: Moonflower Seeds

Cuyahoga Falls, OH(Zone 5a)

I'm looking for Moonflower Seeds. Not the vining kind. I want the ones that grow bushy and their stems smell like peanutbutter.

I grew them for 30 years, then moved to an apartment. Now I am in a duplex where I can have my own garden, so I am trying to replace my favorites. I've searched everywhere but have been unable to find any seeds.

I don't have anything to trade, but I will gladly pay for the seeds, plus postage, of course.

Thanks. Here's hoping...

IF YOUR MOONFLOWER BUSH HAS PRICKLEY SEED PODS AND THE FLOWERS POINT UP,IT IS PROBABLY DATURA INOXIA,WHICH WILL RETURN FROM THE ROOTS WITH MULCH EVERY YEAR. MINE COMES BACK BIGGER EVERY YEAR! HARDY TO ZONE 5, SO THE BOOKS SAY.

There are lots of seed companies that sell Datura, and it comes in several colors, plus singles, doubles and triples.

If it is the flower in the front of this pix. I've got tons of those seeds.
