I don't recall putting this in the ground, but his mother may have.
It looks to me like some sort of grape, but need some expert opinions please.

Is this large enough to get an ID?
I think it's more likely an Ampelopsis species. A. brevipendunculata is a common one that's invasive in some parts of the country http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1524/

I dunno why but there are so many different kinds of vines that grow wild on our property... I have to double check because his mom and I both like/liked vines. I never know if it's something we MEANT to grow or not.
Sheesh. In this bed alone I have found over a dozen volunteer MG and then this one. We intentionally planted Coral Vine and it has come back, along with a few volunteers which I gladly share.
